Confinement in science #2: How does the life of a now confined modeler change?

Turns out that since the start of the lock-down in Belgium one month ago, work scenery has changed… not so much! Can you spot the difference?

As a modeler, pretty much all the research I do is on a computer. From running models, analyzing the outputs, to (hopefully!) writing it all up in a paper, it makes me much less affected by the lockdown than colleagues with lab-work, so I count myself as lucky. The hardest in all of this is being away from my office-mates and colleagues, but we have plenty of Skype-s going daily!

Skype session with APECS Belgium!
